To the Editor:

On behalf of the Lynnfield High PTO, we offer our thanks to the volunteers who helped make graduation a success.  We could not have done it without each and every one of them.

Setup volunteers Patty Moore, Lisa DeGeorge, Stephanie Hines, Heide Carbone, Kathleen Dario, Stephanie Budd, and Frances Fleming worked under a tight deadline and against a stubborn breeze to help decorate before the ceremony.  Student volunteers Giulio Pellegrini, Michael Welter, Abigail Cory, Becky Ladd, Abigail Norwood, Sam Forrest, Ethan Forrest, Ellen Welter, Aidan Connelly, and Celia Carbone handled every task with good humor and great effort.

The cleanup crew of Paulette Folkins, Stephanie Hines, and Marielle Robert made quick work of dismantling the decorations in record time.

Thanks also go to the DPW crew, who handled the logistics and any requests we had, to Jim McCarthy and the Lynnfield Food Service for the donation of cookies and water, and to Ken Welter, who made the outstanding signs with the names of all the graduates.

We appreciate everyone’s contributions, time, and effort, and we hope to have additional volunteers next year!
