Girl Screams, Stops Break-In

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service from Friday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 26.

On Friday, Feb. 24 at 2:59 p.m., police took a report involving fraud.
At 8:12 p.m., police assisted an individual who had become stuck in the ATM vestibule at Sovereign Bank in Center Court.

On Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1:25 a.m., an Essex Street resident reported an attempted break-in. The resident's daughter apparently heard a window being opened and screamed, and the intruder, described as a white male in a white-colored shirt, ran from the scene.
At 4:02 a.m., police assisted Wakefield in locating a car heading from that town.
At 9:49 a.m., a tree limb was reported burning on the power lines near Grey Lane.
At 11:18 a.m., a tree was reported down in the road on Forest Hill Ave.
At 11:44 a.m., a tree was reported down in the road on Melody Lane.
At 12:50 p.m., a tree was reported down in the road on Hilltop Road.
At 1:17 p.m., a tree was reported down in the road on Edgemere Road.
At 1:55 p.m., a tree was reported down on Lynnbrook Road.
At 7:54 p.m., police took a loitering complaint from Partridge Lane.
At 9:13 p.m., an erratic operator was reported on Salem Street.

On Sunday, Feb. 26 at 12:59 a.m., a caller reported an accident involving a car into a pole. The motorist reportedly fled the scene and headed up Route 1 North and was stopped by State Police in Peabody.
At 9:02 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on Summer Street. Peace was restored.
At 10:25 p.m., police assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle.
At 10:35 p.m., an accident was reported at Salem Street and Broadway.
