Get Out: Tarot Readings and Karaoke This Weekend

Some fun things to do in and around Lynnfield this weekend.

 

Another weekend is fast approaching, and you're wondering what's going on in and around Lynnfield.

1. Massachusetts Genealogical Council Annual Meeting and Seminar - "Chronicling the Bay State"

When/Where: LaCava Conference Center, Bentley University, 175 Forest St, Waltham, Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. 

Why Go: Go to this seminar that included featured topics such as original records in Massachusetts, important repositories, genealogical methodology and technology. Featured speakers include Dick Eastman, Beau Sharbrough, Mel Wolfgang, Marian Pierre-Louis, Lori Lyn Price, David Lambert, David Dearborn, Tom Howard, and many others.

Pricing: Walk-Ins are $85.00 at the door - Cash & Check only.

2. Karaoke with Kimba J. at Lakeside Tavern

When/Where: 595 North Ave, Wakefield, Saturday, 8:30pm.

Why Go: Gather up some friends and head to the Lord Wakefield Hotel on Saturday. If you have some singing talent, why not show it off?

Pricing: Free.

3. Teen Tarot Card Party

When/Where: Reading Public Library, 64 Middlesex Ave, Reading, Saturday, 2–4 p.m.

Why Go: Interested in knowing about your future? Have you ever had your tarot card read? Teens and Tweens entering grades 6-12 are invited to have their Tarot Cards read and interpreted by a real Tarot Card Reader.

Pricing: Free.

4. Sunday Brunch at Bobby C's

When/Where: 20 Main St, Melrose, Sunday, 11 p.m.

Why Go: Head to Melrose for great food, great people and great music!

Pricing: Varies.

5. Adult Running Interest Group

When/Where: Memorial Park, 64 Salem St, Reading, Saturday, 7 a.m.

Why Go: Join the Adult Running Interest Group for a recreational 4-5 mile run. Please plan to arrive a few minutes before 7 a.m. There will be a set course that morning around the neighborhoods and/or the Lake in Wakefield. The pace is easy to moderate and we wrap before 8 a.m.
