Get Out and Get Moving This Weekend
And maybe win some money?
Another weekend is fast approaching, and you're wondering what's going on in and around Lynnfield.
There are lots of chances to get some excercise and have fun this weekend, so why not take advantage? Run around town, or take your kids to play some flag football or golf.
There's also a BINGO tournament you could play in and possibly win some big bucks.
When/Where: Memorial Park, (64 Salem St.), Saturday, 7:00am
Why Go: Get in some solid excersie this weekend with a 4-5 mile run. Arrive a few minutes before 7:00am. The course will be planned that morning around the neighborhoods and/or the lake in Wakefield. The pace is easy/moderate, and you'll be done by 8 a.m. and still have the rest of the day to relax. Tell your friends!
When/Where: Lord Wakefield Hotel (595 North Ave, Wakefield) Sunday, 8:30pm–11:30pm.
Why Go: Be a star this weekend and join in on some fun karaoke in Wakefield. Grab a group of friends and head out for a fun night out.
When/Where: Reedy Meadow Golf Course, 195 Summer St, Lynnfield, Saturday, 9:30am–10:30am.
Why Go: Bring your kids (ages 7-13) to the golf course for some free lessons and see if golf could be a sport they can really get into. The kids can get out of the house, get some fresh air, and hang out with other kids.
When/Where: Rita J. Mullin Recreational Park, 96 Lowell Rd, North Reading, Sunday, 8:00am–12:00pm.
Why Go: Bring your kids to play some fun flag football on Sunday. Here's a testimonial from a fan of the program:
"I just wanted to let you know that the flag football experience for the boys this season was awesome! They really had a good time and really loved being able to play positions (quarterback) that they will never get the chance to do on their tackle teams. You run a class act and it shows. I have rant and raved about the organization to everyone I could think of!"
Pricing: N/A. Buy Tickets.
When/Where: 15 Dale Ct, Stoneham, MA 02180 (Stoneham Boys and Girls Club), Saturday & Sunday, 6:30pm.
Why Go: The Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham's annual budget has been partially funded by weekly BINGO games for over thirty years, so why not join in on the fun and help the cause. The BINGO operation at the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham assists the club to continue serving the children of the Stoneham area for a low membership feel. Help them continue this legacy of service simply by playing BINGO on Saturday or Sunday evenings.
Pricing: Varies, but there is a possibilty for a $3,000 jackpot.
