LAA Tag Day: This Sunday, athletes from Lynnfield High School will be canvassing neighborhoods in town seeking donations for the Lynnfield Athletic Association. For more, check out this letter LAA President Linda Rugato that ran earlier in the week.
It Was The Monster Flash: The LHS Interact Club has announced that on Sunday, Oct. 28, it will hold its first biennial Monster Flash fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Old Meeting House. The Old Meeting House will be transformed into a haunted house setting, $5 per child, maximum of $10 per family. A full announcement will run on this website on Monday morning.
Pumpkin Fair: This Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Summer Street School PTO holds their annual Pumpkin Fair.
Friends Of Pleasure Island: This Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. , Friends of Pleasure Island President Bob McLaughlin leads a free walking tour of the site of the former amusement park, where the office park presently stands. The event is open to the public and does not require reservations. Participants meet in the first parking lot on the left after entering Edgewater Office Park.
Event This Weekend: This Sunday, Oct. 14th, it’s the Steps 2 Cure NF (Neurofibromatosis) walk, also around Lake Quannapowitt. In Wakefield Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the walk is at 2 p.m. _Click here to learn more_.
