Five Things You Need To Know: November 28
A look at activities and events in the Lynnfield area.
Today is Wednesday, November 28. Here are five things you need to know.
LHS Football: As you may know, the LHS Pioneers won their division IIIA tournament football game against Amesbury last night, 35-14. Patch editor Andy Sylvia was at the game and the transcript of his live blog can be viewed here.
Mixing In Math: Today from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., the Lynnfield library hosts the “Mixing In Math” group, a way for students in grades 1-4 to learn more about math concepts. No registration required, just stop in.
Saturday On The Common: This Saturday, some popular annual events are taking place around the town common. The town’s tree-lighting and the gingerbread house contest are going on, with more information here. Also that morning, the Historical Society holds its annual Country Store event.
Food For Fines: Speaking of the library, from December 1 through January 4 you can pay your overdue book fines with non-perishable food donations for the needy.
LMS Gift Drive: Another local opportunity to help those in need is by donating items to the annual Lynnfield Middle School gift drive which ends on Dec. 13. Click here for more information.
