Five Things You Need To Know, Nov. 30
This weekend - Live HS Super Bowl coverage, town tree lighting, gingerbread house contest, and country store event.
Today is Friday, Dec. 1. Here are five things you need to know.
Football game coverage: Lynnfield takes on Bishop Sheehan in the MIAA Division 3A Super Bowl game this Saturday, 8 p.m. at Gillette Stadium. Jonathan Friedman of Patch.com will be live blogging the game on the Lynnfield and Attleboro Patch websites.
Holiday Season Kickoff: Saturday afternoon, it’s the annual town tree lighting and Gingerbread House Contest on the common. Click here for more information from the Lynnfield Recreation Commission.
Country Store: The Historical Society has been searching far and wide for a box or twin-pack of Twinkies to raffle off this Saturday at the annual Country Store event (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Meeting House). Your local Patch.com editor is already donating a twin pack of Devil Dogs to be raffled off Saturday. If you can match the donation with some Twinkies, email William.email@example.com.
This morning we also have a gallery of photos showing 50 years of this annual town holiday tradition. Click here to check them out.
Town Business: On Monday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at town hall. On Wednesday, Dec. 5, it’s the annual town budget summit at the senior center on Salem Street.
