Five Things You Need To Know: May 29

LHS Coffee House is this Wednesday evening.

 

Today is Tuesday, May 29. Here are five things you need to know.

Coffee House: Next Wednesday, June 6 at 7 p.m., the LHS Music Department holds the final coffee house of the school year, featuring the musical talents of the students. Admission is $5 and proceeds help support the LHS Music Department programs.

Graduation: Speaking of LHS, the annual graduation ceremony is this Friday evening, June 1 at 6 p.m. at the middle school field.

Full Moon Pajama Party: Next Monday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. , bring the kids by the Lynnfield Library for a full moon pajama party, featuring lunar-themed stories and a craft.

Disability Placards: One of the upcoming lunch and lecture events at the Lynnfield Senior Center will focus on disability placards. Michele Ellicks from MassDOT/RMV will talk on Thursdsy. June 21 at 12:30 p.m. about the rules and regulations of disability placards.  Lunch at 11:30 a.m. is $3. Sign for the talk and for lunch separately.

For Parents Of Teens: Speaking of parent workshops, on Wednesday, May 30, the Centre Congregational Church is hosting a lecture and discussion entitled “Surviving The Teen Years.” The seminar will be presented by Leslie Miller, LICSW, of the Lynnfield Family Center. e-mail info@lynnfieldfamilycenter.org or call (781) 484-6209 to RSVP.
