Today is Thursday, Jan. 26. Here are five things you need to know.
Marrow Donors Needed: A student at Lynnfield Middle School reportedly needs a bone marrow transplant in his ongoing battle against leukemia. Today from 3 to 8 p.m. in the LMS cafeteria, local residents between the ages of 18 and 60 can stop by and join the bone marrow registry, which is as easy as providing a swab on the side of your cheek. Art Show Sunday: On Sunday, Sunrise Senior Living in Lynnfield is hosting an art show at 2 p.m. featuring the work of longtime professional artist Angelo Stavru, who is a resident there. Art will also be available for sale.
LHS Sports: The lone game on the Lynnfield High School sports schedule is a junior varsity hockey game at 8:20 p.m. against Pentucket at Kasabuski Rink in Saugus.
Constituent Service Hours: Next Friday, Feb. 3, State Senator Katherine Clark or a member of her staff have a constituent service hour scheduled at Lynnfield Town Hall from 10 to 11 a.m.
Upcoming Lego Night: This Tuesday, Jan. 31, the Lynnfield Library has its next Lego Night planned. Bring the kids by to make some new creations. The library provides the Legos.
