A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.
Today is Tuesday, January 22nd. Here are five things you need to know.
Town Business: The conservation commission meets at 6:30 p.m. downstairs in town hall in the conservation office. The school committee meets at 7 p.m. in the selectmen’s room.
UCC Coffee House: Coming up this Friday, January 25th – it’s the next coffeehouse at the Lynnfield Community Church on Salem Street in Lynnfield, featuring the “Just Harry Ensemble.” Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and show goes from 7:45 to 9 p.m.
Valentine’s Day Concert: So what are you doing on Valentine’s Day? One local idea is that “Rags to Riches” concert in downtown Wakefield on February 14th, featuring the New England Tenors. Tickets are $30. Click here for more information.
Souper Bowl Of Caring: Ok so the Patriots aren’t going to the Super Bowl. But that’s neither here nor there. The Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry needs a hand providing assistance to local families. Between now and February 3rd, you can drop off donated food items at a drop off box on the lower level of the Americal Civic Center. Financial donations will also be gladly accepted and can be mailed to the Interfaith Food Pantry at PO Box 1624, Wakefield, MA 01880. Email email@example.com for more information.
Tarzan: Lynnfield Community Schools presents Disney’s “Tarzan,” with music by Phil Collins, coming up with performance on Friday, Feb. 1 (7 p.m.), Saturday, Feb. 2 (1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.), and Sunday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 ($8 for kids and seniors) and performance are at Lynnfield Middle School.
