Lynnfield Historical Society: Tomorrow evening at 7:30 p.m., stop by the Old Meeting House for the historical society meeting and hear a presentation by author Anthony Mitchell Sammarco. For more information, click here.
Mardi Gras: Tomorrow (Feb. 21) at 1:30 p.m., the Lynnfield Library holds a Mardi Gras party for the kids, featuring stories, a mask craft, and a Mardi Gras mambo. King cake, nut-free will also be served. For those unfamiliar with king cake, this is a delicious New Orleans Mardi Gras tradition.
OLA Anniversary: Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield has a 75th anniversary dinner celebration coming up on Saturday, April 14 at the Boston Peabody Marriott. The event runs from 6 to 11 p.m. with a cash bar and is $55 per person. For tickets, call the Parish business office at 781-598-4313.
Town Business: The Lynnfield Board of Health meets at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room at town hall.
Senior Financial Strategies: On Tuesday, March 6 at 12:30 p.m., Certified Elder Law Attorney Patrick Curley will be at the Lynnfield Senior Center to discuss ways for seniors to protect their homes and savings. Attorney Lucy Budman will also be on hand to discuss tax strategies. Register at the front desk in advance. Also, sign up by noon the day before for lunch, which is $2 and which will be served at 11:30 a.m.
