Fundraiser At Prince: This Wednesday, August 29 from 4 to 8 p.m., stop by Prince Pizzeria on Route 1 in Saugus for a fundraiser to help the DiGangi family of Lynnfield defray the cost of a brain tumor treatment.

Back To School: Today is back to school day in the Lynnfield School District. Be sure to drive carefully and watch for pedestrians.

Curious About Cuisine: Speaking of the library, the monthly gatherings of the Curious About Cuisine group will resume on Wednesday, September 12 from 3 to 4 p.m. Danielle Beaudette of The Cozy Tea Cart will discuss The Basics Of Tea.

Town Business: The Planning Board meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at town hall.

Big Band Tuesday: Come and dance to the sounds of the R&R 2000, 14 piece orchestra the second Tuesday of each month. Tuesday , Sept.11 at 9:30. Donations for refreshments and 50/50 raffle to be split between the winner and the band. If you would like to stay for our delicious lunch at 11:30, please sign up by 12 noon the day before.
