Today is Wednesday, August 22. Here are five things you need to know.

Gluten Free: Christine’s Café and Confections announced this week that they now have a gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. At least 24 hours notice is requested with orders.

OD’s Run/Walk: The 9th annual OD’s Memorial 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, September 30. Held in memory of Johnny O’Donnell, the event begins and ends at Lynnfield High School, with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. and the run/walk starting at 10 a.m. Proceeds benefit the John O’Donnell Memorial Scholarship Fund. Pre-registration is $15 and the day of the event it’s $20.

Family Tree Research: According to an announcement on its website, the Lynnfield Library has subscribed to Ancestry Library Edition and Heritage Quest.  To learn about these useful tools for researching one’s family tree, click here.

Lunch And A Movie: Next Tuesday, August 28, at noon, the Lynnfield Senior Center is showing “The Iron Lady,” starring Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher. Sign up separately for lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m.

Weather: The National Weather Service is forecasting a perfect late summer day, with a high near 82.
