Show Up And Participate Tonight: Town meeting is tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Lynnfield Middle School. All town residents are encouraged to attend. A copy of the town’s warrant articles can be viewed here.
Strategies For Parents: Later in May, the Lynnfield and Reading Special Education Parents Advisory Councils will present a free workshop for all parents featuring Sarah Ward, MS, CCC/SLP. The presentation, entitled “Practical Executive Function Strategies For Home And School,” will help parents learn strategies to teach their child to efficiently manage their tasks, space and materials. The workshop is Thursday, May 24 at 7 p.m. in the Lynnfield Middle School auditorium.
Constituent Service Hour: State Senator Katherine Clark has announced a constituent service hour for Friday, May 4 at Lynnfield Town Hall from 10 to 11 a.m.
Senior Center Event: Later this month, the Lynnfield Senior Center hosts a lunch and live performance “All The President’s Women.” On Tuesday, May 15 at 11:30 a.m., enjoy a live performance featuring the lives of U.S. presidents, as well as a luncheon featuring authentic first ladies’ recipes. Please purchase tickets ($7) in advance at front desk.
Pioneer Sports: Today on the LHS sports calendar, the boys varsity tennis team plays at home at 3:30 p.m. against Newburyport, while the girls varsity team is on the road, also at 3:30 p.m. against Newburyport. At the 3:45 p.m. the varsity and JV softball teams both play in East Boston, while the girls varsity lacrosse team plays Newburyport at 4 p.m. at LHS with the JV game at 5:15 p.m.
