Today is Thursday, April 26. Here are five things you need to know.
Art Guild: Artist Joan Rademacher of Methuen gives tonight’s demonstration at the monthly Lynnfield Art Guild meeting, 7 p.m. at the Senior Center on Salem Street. For more information, click here.
Rabies Clinic: The town has announced that it will hold a rabies clinic on Wednesday, May 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the DPW garage behind town hall. Cost is $10. Those attending must bring documentation of previous rabies vaccinations for their pets.
Evening Of A Cappella: On Friday, May 4 head over to Wakefield High School, 60 Farm Street for an evening of A cappella music that will include performances by three Lynnfield High School groups (the A caBellas, the A caPeople and the LHS Chamber Singers), among other local student groups. Admission is $15 ($10 for seniors and students) and the doors open at 6:30 p.m.
LHS Sports: Today on the Pioneer sports calendar, the boys varsity tennis team plays Masco at home at 3:30 p.m. The varsity and JV baseball teams both play Masco at 3:45 p.m. at home, At 4 p.m., the girls varsity lacrosse team plays Masco, also at home, and the JV teams play at 5:15 p.m.
Destination Imagination Fundraising: Several Destination Imagination teams from Lynnfield are going to the global finals in Tennessee in May, and they’re selling potted plants to help defray the costs.
