School Choice Hearing: The Lynnfield School District has announced a public hearing on school choice for Tuesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. in the high school media center. Citizens of the community are invited to attend.
New England In Hollywood: The next meeting of the Lynnfield Historical Society is tonight at 7:30 pm in the Old Meeting House. The meeting will feature a slide lecture about “New England in Hollywood”. The public is invited to join author and personality Roger Kolb for a fun and informative illustrated lecture about the movie stars who came from this region.
Little League Parade: The annual Little League Parade runs from noon to 3 p.m. this Sunday, April 29, wrapping up at Newhall Park on Suntaug Lake.
Lunch and Kentucky Derby: Coming up on Tuesday, May 1, the Lynnfield Senior Center is hosting a lunch to celebrate the Kentucky Derby, which is later that weekend. Lunch features southern fare. Tickets are $7 in advance at the front desk.
Pioneer Sports: Today at 3:45 p.m., the varsity and JV softball teams play at home against North Reading. The varsity and JV baseball teams are on the road against North Andover at 3:45 p.m., while at 4 p.m., the boys varsity and JV lacrosse teams play at North Andover.
