Five Things You Need To Know: April 19

Earth Day party today at 1:30 p.m., Lynnfield Art Guild annual auction is tonight at 7 p.m.

 

Today is Thursday, April 19. Here are five things you need to know.

Earth Day Party: Looking for a fun school vacation week activity with the kids? Today at 1:30 p.m. the Lynnfield Library is having an Earth Day celebration that includes stories about the environment and a grow kit to start a vegetable plant.

Art Guild Auction: Tonight at 7 p.m., the Lynnfield Art Guild holds its annual fundraising auction at the Senior Center on Salem Street. And, it's not too late to donate an item or two for the auction. To learn more about dropping an item off or the auction itself, click here.

Constituent Service Hour: Rep. Brad Jones or a member of his staff will be at Lynnfield Town Hall tomorrow (Friday) morning at 11:30 a.m. for a constituent service hour.

LHS Sports: Today on the Pioneer sports calendar – the varsity and JV baseball teams are both playing at home at 10 a.m. against Hamilton-Wenham. There is also a freshman softball game at 10:30 a.m. at home against Nazareth.

Lunch and Kentucky Derby: Coming up on Tuesday, May 1, the Lynnfield Senior Center is hosting a lunch to celebrate the Kentucky Derby, which is later that weekend. Lunch features southern fare. Tickets are $7 in advance at the front desk.
