Five Accidents and a Urinating Man Among Weekend's Calls

Information provided by Lynnfield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, March 15th and Sunday, March 17th.

On Friday, March 15th at 12:45 a.m. police and fire were informed of a burning smell and power outage in a home on Locksley Road.
At 8:29 a.m. an accident with no injury was reported on Condon Circle.
At 10:37 a.m. an unwanted party was reported on Nottingham Road.
At 1:53 p.m. a caller reported there was a pocketbook in a dumpster near Lynnfield Meat and Deli. The pocketbook was not located.
At 3:23 p.m. a caller reported a motorist was possibly following a UPS truck and taking packages. The individual checked out OK.
At 4:30 p.m. a disabled auto was reported on North Broadway.
At 8:52 p.m. a disabled auto was reported on 128 South near Main Street.

On Saturday, March 16th at 1:14 a.m. an erratically operating black SUV was reported, but it was not located.
At 12:02 p.m. police took a report involving threats.
At 4:25 p.m. an accident was reported on Salem Street.
At 6:27 p.m. a vehicle was reported off the road on Walnut Street.
At 7:27 p.m. an Apple Hill Lane resident called about a beeping noise that was in the house.

On Sunday, March 17th around 10:52 a.m., police issued various citations near Salem and Walnut Streets.
At 3:11 p.m. a parking complaint came in from North Broadway.
At 6:17 p.m. an accident was reported on 128 South near exit 43. State Police handled the matter.
At 6:54 p.m. a caller on Baldwin Lane reported that a man had exited a parked SUV, urinated in the yard, and gone back to sitting in the vehicle. Police found that the unoccupied vehicle was registered to a resident.
At 7:42 p.m. an officer gave a speeding citation on Merrow Road.
