You know, when I was a young college student, I was briefly on track to major in archaeology. Those who read this site regularly will not find that fact surprising. I've covered every inch of this town exploring old homesteads, historic markers, and books in order to come up interesting Lynnfield content. At some point in my travels, I even came across this object, which appears to contain ancient inscriptions of some sort, possibly reflecting a long-ago Viking or Celtic visit to the area.
