Break-In Reported On Moran Road

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, August 17 and Thursday, August 18.
On Wednesday, August 17 at 12:05 a.m., a Walnut Street resident reported a suspicious male with a backpack walking down the road. He turned out to be on his way home and police gave him a ride.
At 1:30 a.m., police received a BOLO alert for an individual involved in a domestic incident in Chelmsford, with ties to the local area. He did not turn up in town.
At 8:14 a.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred on Main Street at Beaver Ave.
At 2:02 p.m., a 911 hang up call came from Crescent Ave.
At 2:17 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Robin Road. The building was secure.
At 9:03 p.m., a Jordan Road resident called about the noise being generated by some neighbors watching a movie with an outside speaker system. They agreed to keep the volume down.
At 9:16 p.m., a fire alarm went off at Olde Town Market.
At 9:17 p.m., a group of youths were reported to be in the Center Court parking lot. It turned out to be a driving school class taking a break.
At 11:20 p.m., a North Broadway resident called about loud music from a neighboring apartment.
On Thursday, August 18 at 2:09 a.m., Moran Road resident reported a break-in where various items were stolen from his house.
At 9:30 a.m., a car with a gas leak was reported on Oxbow Road.
At 10:41 a.m., police provided a lift assist on Nottingham Road.
At 10:59 a.m., police received a report of vandalism at the South Lynnfield Water Tower.
At 11:17 a.m., a burglar alarm went off on South Broadway, set off by a Fed Ex driver.
At 12:54 p.m., burglar alarm went off on Lowell Street.
At 2:17 p.m., a motorist called to report a car carrier that had backed up on Route 1 in front of the Mercedes dealership and almost struck her vehicle. She asked for an officer to speak to the driver.
At 2:43 p.m., a Salem Street resident reported that a rock from a neighbor's lawnmower struck his windshield. Police advised him to call his insurance company.
At 5:03 p.m., police checked on a female pedestrian who was reported to seem disoriented. They gave her a ride home.
At 5:06 p.m., a loud booming sound was reported on Pillings Pond Road, similar to sounds heard in the area the previous night.
At 5:17 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Windsor Road. The building was secure.
At 6:14 p.m., a disabled auto was reported on Route 128 South.
At 8:53 p.m., police dispersed a group of several youths from Center Court.
At 8:54 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Maple Street.
At 9:06 p.m., an erratic operator was reported on Main Street. The vehicle was located nearby in its driveway.
At 9:50 p.m., police received a report of a disabled auto on South Broadway. The driver turned out to be ill and an officer waited with her until a family member arrived.
