Here's a chance to share what you know about your school and maybe win an iTunes gift card!
I'm looking for public high school students in the Boston area to about I-495 to answer a 5-10 minute survey about their school. It's a school life survey mainly about academic emphases, school community, safety and diversity. You can follow the link and read all of the questions before deciding whether to participate or whether to send the link to a friend.
Boston area high school students, please complete the survey now at http://tinyurl.com/SchoolLifeSurvey. For every answer you provide, you have a chance to win one of three $10 iTunes gift cards!

Hi Dorothy,
Thanks for your question. I'm an independent education researcher not affiliated with any institution, company, or organization. This is a project I've been working on while I've been out of the workforce staying home with my young daughters.
The purpose of the project as a whole is to find a way to collect and share information about important school factors that aren't clearly reflected in the data we usually get about schools, such as test scores and school funding. I'm asking questions about the school experience.
Once this project gets off the ground, my target audience for the results will be parents and school personnel. I hope to use this year's data (in aggregate form) to move the project to the next stage, which is improving the survey design, improving data collection methods, identifying funding sources, and developing an appropriate web-based platform for data collection and for sharing results.
I hope this answers your questions. Please feel free to contact me at schoollifesurvey@gmail.com if you want more information.
Best,
Anne
