The Lynnfield Middle School raised many pounds of food during their April 2-5 PTO-sponsored food drive. This fourth annual food collection was organized with the LMS Student Council and Gathering Change, Inc. Over 1100 pounds of nonperishable food items were collected at the middle school and sent to Haven from Hunger in Peabody, a food pantry which serves Lynnfield residents. Many thanks and much appreciation goes to 5th grade teacher Patricia Hazelton, a driving force behind the food drive, the generous families donating food year after year and Principal Stephen Ralston for supporting this important community service project.
