READING – The Austin Preparatory School Golf Team is the recipient of the 2012 MIAA Division III Sportsmanship Award for the fall season.

According to the MIAA, the Sportsmanship Award is given to teams who have demonstrated a sincere commitment to the highest ideals and objectives of sportsmanship during their season of play.

The Cougars were presented with the honor after the Division III North Golf Tournament on Mon., Oct. 22 at Hillview Country Club in North Reading.
